Student Life Holmes Junior HighThrough the generous support of the Cedar Falls Schools Foundation there will be a free community event, Modeling Matters – What Parents Need to Know (and Do) to Decrease Stress, Worry, and Anxiety, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM tonight at Cedar Falls High School. Students are welcome to attend to learn how to manage their anxiety, moods, and social pressures as well as identify common traps individuals fall into and key adjustments needed to prevent and help mental health challenges.
Attention all Volunteer Club members: the Hansen carnival is next Friday, April 26th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Hansen PTA is looking for volunteers to oversee games, as most slots are not filled and may have to be dropped if there are no volunteers. This will be our biggest volunteering event of the year, so please make an effort to attend. The sign-up link is included in the volunteer club group update on Schoology.
There will be a mandatory softball meeting on Thursday, April 25th for 8-12 graders going out for high school softball. The meeting will take place at the high school auditorium at 6:30pm. If you are unable to attend due to a conflict, please contact Coach Teply as soon as possible.
